Binyamin Netanyahu was rebuked after expressing disappointment that Germany voted for a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlements.

The German chancellor, Angela Merkel, has sternly rebuked the Israeli prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, in an unusually fractious telephone call, according to media reports.

Netanyahu had done nothing to advance the peace process, Merkel said in a conversation this week, reported in the Israeli daily Haaretz.

The Israeli prime minister telephoned Merkel on Monday to say he was disappointed that Germany had voted for a UN security council resolution condemning settlements that was vetoed by the US.

According to a German official quoted by Haaretz, Merkel was furious. "How dare you?" she said. "You are the one who has disappointed us. You haven't made a single step to advance peace."

There is one crucial ace in the pack that Slobodan Milosevic and Saddam Hussein, the previous targets of no-fly zones, did not have to face on any large scale Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles: in plain language, hunter killer drones.

The United States fields two types the smaller and lighter Predator and the truly awesome Reaper with a 66ft wingspan and a payload of 14 Hellfire missiles or laser-guided bombs. It can stay in the air for 14 hours at a stretch.

It¹s about half the size of a Second World War Lancaster but its smart weapons pack several times the punch. To carry out the Dambusters raid in 1943, Wing Commander Guy Gibson would have needed only three of these extraordinary machines.

The drones are flown remotely, usually from Creech Air Force base a few miles outside Las Vegas. The 'pilots' who control them have been honing their skills with strikes in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

It¹s not just the technical specs that are impressive. These machines are the cutting edge of a whole intelligence system think flying iPod or Kindle. Backing them up them are a battery of intelligence-gathering sensors across the world that Bletchley Park could only dream of.

It¹s not yet clear what part the RAF will play in enforcing UN Resolution 1973 - though there are early reports from Italy of British planes being armed with missiles - but GCHQ's listening stations in Cyprus and Gibraltar will be invaluable.

The combination of near real-time target intelligence and Reaper's 14-hour 'loiter time' means that there is a good chance of killing Gaddafi himself and/or his sons early in the campaign if President Obama wants to.

Israel Land Fund: Netanyahu is Already Dividing Jerusalem (See article below)

My take on what is happening prophetically:
What Israel Land Fund Chairman Aryeh King is saying should have every ear of the Bible prophecy student alert to the nearness of the confirming of the covernant (Daniel 9:27), the Day of the Lord and the Rapture of the church.

We are fast approaching the beginning of the last seven years timeline, called the Tribulation, that will end in the War of Armageddon and the arrival of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, with His Saints, Who will put down all rebellion and reign and rule from Jerusalem.

Bibi Netanyahu was elected on a platform of "no land for peace". His Likkud Party represents the conservative, right wing and his coalition includes other right wing and the ultra-right wing parties, like ultra-Orthodox Shas.

The settlers were led to believe and vote for a coalition that would not give up Judea/Samaria or East Jerusalem to its enemies.

This coalition appears to have held out for a few years but all the signs of betrayal of the settlers and the promises that Netanyahu and his party made are starting to become more and more obvious, as heralded in the above report. Here are some things that I have seen lately:

1. Roadblocks are being dismantled in the settlements. Checkpoints are being abandoned. The Israeli government has been increasingly giving in to the bullying of the Quartet. Some believe these have caused the recent massacre of the Jewish family in the village of Itamar.

2. Paramilitary palestinian forces are being given greater autonomy in Judea/Samaria. The US has finished training the palestinians and arming them.

3. As documented above, East Jerusalem is being divided and given over to the palestinians. Talk is even of reopening Orient House, the former hqs. of the PLO and their leader, arafat. This was definitely not supposed to happen under Netanyahu's administration.

5. Netanyahu has been accelerating his attempts to woo former Prime Minister Livni and her Kadima Party into his coalition. If he can do that it would keep his coalition from falling apart should Shas up and leave.

6. There's talk in Jerusalem and the US that Netanyahu is working on a new plan to restart the peace talks. A plan that has a real chance at getting both sides back to the table. He is supposed to make this plan public by April or May.

Netanyahu is between a rock and a hard place.

Without a doubt.

The rock is the Quartet. Its members, the US, the EU and the UN has been relentless in sending their ambassadors, deparment chiefs and all their counsels to Jerusalem, day after day, week after week, month after month to wear down Netanyahu and his goverment into accepting its fate: a palestinian state, side by side, living in peace and security (ha ha ha ha ha ).

The hard place has just recently sprung up but starting as a trickle, in South America, it is becoming a tsunami, rolling through the Middle East, Europe, Asia and ready to shortly encompass the whole world.

What is this hard place?

It's the acceleration of countries recognizing Palestine as a nation, complete with embassy in country and all diplomatic recognition as any other nation of the world. Currently there are 104 countries that recognize Palestine as a sovereign nation with the EU now considering it too, if there is no peace treaty signed between Israel and the palestinians by this September. I do believe that our President would join in too, especially if the EU carrys through with their threat.

Our President stated at the UN meeting last September that he believed that this process would be done within a year or by the next UN meeting in September, 2011. This date has become hard and fast if you listen to world leaders discussing the Mideast peace process now. Even Israeli Defense Minister Barak is convinced of this and is counseling Netanyahu to get serious about an agreement before the ball is taken out of Israeli hands and into the court of the UN Security Council.

Here's the rumour that is getting increasingly louder and louder:

If nothing is done towards finalizing a peace agreement by this September, the palestinians will take thier case to the UN and there the Security Counsel will listen and act, with NO abstensions and NO vetoes.

What does this mean?

A palestinian state with 1967 boarders and UN enforcement!

Obama, Holder contend homosexuality 'immutable'

Barack Obama today contended that homosexuality is "immutable" as part of his decision, announced by Attorney General Eric Holder, that the Department of Justice would not defend a number of lawsuits challenging the federal Defense of Marriage Act's definition for federal purposes of marriage as involving one man and one woman only.

"While sexual orientation carries no visible badge, a growing scientific consensus accepts that sexual orientation is a characteristic that is immutable," Holder explained in his statement announcing the conclusion he reached with Obama.

His announcement came because the Justice Department in the past has defended the federal law, but he and Obama revised the government's position because of recent cases.

"In November 2011, plaintiffs filed two new lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of Section 3 of DOMA in jurisdictions without precedent on whether sexual-orientation classifications are subject to rational basis review or whether they must satisfy some form of heightened scrutiny," he wrote.

"The president and I have concluded that classifications based on sexual orientation warrant heightened scrutiny and that, as applied to same-sex couples legally married under state law, Section 3 of DOMA is unconstitutional," he said.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich described the move as Obama simply trying to dictate to America his perspective.

"The president is replacing the rule of law with the rule of Obama," he said. "The president swore an oath on the Bible to ensure that the laws be faithfully executied, not to decide which laws are and which are not constitutional."

Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel said the actions by government officials who were sworn faithfully to uphold the laws of the United States are nothing more or less than "outrageous."

"This is a federal law and the federal government, including the Obama administration and the Department of Justice, has an obligation to defend this law," he said. "This law has been attacked before and has been upheld as constitutional."

"This is tyranny," he said.

He said traditional marriage supporters were concerned that the federal government was presenting such a half-hearted defense of the law – in combination with Obama's repeated political condemnations of the idea of protecting marriage.

"Now it really has become revealed that they have no interest and never had an interest in defending the law," he said.

"This is outrageous for an attorney general to do this on such an important matter of law and public policy," he continued, "That's their job, to defend it. Not determine what the law is.

"It is up to the courts to address these laws," he said.

"They're (the Obama administration) in collusion with, in conspiracy with the radical homosexual agenda to pull the wool over the people's eyes in American and torpedo marriage," he said.

High Winds in DC Topple National Christmas Tree

WASHINGTON — Fierce winds swept through the mid-Atlantic region Saturday, knocking out power to thousands, fanning fires and toppling the National Christmas Tree.

More than 100,000 customers lost power in Washington, Maryland, and Virginia at some point Saturday, but power had been restored to most of them. But in Maryland, 27,000 customers still were without power late Saturday afternoon.

The National Christmas Tree is a Colorado blue spruce that was planted on the Ellipse, near the White House, in 1978. It was 15 years old and 30 feet tall when it was planted. It's now 47 years old and stood about 42 feet.

National Park Service spokesman Bill Line told The Washington Post that the tree fell just before 11 a.m. Saturday. He said a successor had already been picked and will be planted in coming weeks.

Lindsay Lohan to face felony charge over necklace

The "Mean Girls" star is due to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon on a felony grand theft charge that prosecutors say they will file over a $2,500 necklace reported stolen by an upscale jewelry store.

The charge is the latest - and most serious - legal problem for the actress, who remains on probation for a 2007 drunken driving case.

Police and prosecutors allege Lohan, 24, took the necklace from a store in the beachside community of Venice on Jan. 22, weeks after she was released from a rehab facility where she was also accused of misconduct.

In fact, violent economic riots are now being reported in Algeria, in Chile and in Mozambique. Food shortages and price increases are also causing political unrest in other nations such as India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. This is a very serious situation, and if the major food producing nations of the world do not have another record harvest this year there is very likely going to be an incredibly serious global food crunch. According to the UN's Food and Agricultural Organization, the global price of food hit a new record high in December. The previous record high for food prices was in June 2008, and we all remember what happened during the summer of 2008. Massive food riots erupted in countries such as Cameroon, Haiti and Egypt.

So with price shocks and food shortages already being reported all over the globe, will we see even worse global economic riots in 2011?

The first family just can't seem to enjoy a beach vacation near clean, pristine water, and the current presidential vacation is no different.

Hawaii has been plagued with heavy rains recently, and the Oahu village of Kailua has been forced to release untreated sewage and agricultural runoff into Kailua Bay and the beaches around the Obamas' rental home. County officials have posted signs telling tourists to stay out of the water but many Hawaiian visitors are going in for a Christmas dip anyway.

But the first family's issues with dirty water began last summer.

After pressure in August to vacation in Gulf Coast areas affected by the BP oil spill, the first family spent a weekend visiting Florida's panhandle. After swimming at Alligator Point in oil-plagued Panama City with daughter Sasha, the president jetted off to Martha's Vineyard where the family was greeted by more contaminated water.

As the Obamas arrived on the posh Massachusetts island, local health officials were closing beaches and the salt-water lagoon near the family's rental compound because of high levels of fecal coli-form bacteria.

Senate votes to end ban on openly gay troops

Obama was expected to sign the bill into law next week, although changes to military policy probably wouldn't take effect for at least several months. Under the bill, the president and his top military advisers must first certify that lifting the ban won't hurt troops' ability to fight. After that, the military would undergo a 60-day wait period.

And I have to leave again tonight . . . He asked me to come down today, because he knew I was going to — Hillary and I were appearing before the Brookings Saban Forum on the Middle East tonight.”

The event gobsmacked the political class. On Twitter, ABC News political director Amy E. Walter wrote, “Obama just ceded the podium to Clinton. This. Is. Awesome.” Christina Bellantoni of the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call used the same punctuation trope: “This is Un. Real.”

Washington froze in wonder at this momentary trip into the past. The sheer strangeness of the sight of Clinton alone at that podium crystallized the sense that the American political system (or more specifically, the Democratic party) had spun out of control over the course of the week.

The budget deal will surely go through, and the events of the past week will be forgotten. But Obama’s cavalier handling of the institutional prerogatives of the presidency will leave it a little less grand, making his own job as he goes forward a little bit harder — and, through the entirely avoidable self-inflicted error, making himself seem a little bit smaller.

Barring significant rain between now and Tuesday, which seems unlikely given this coming weekend's expected unseasonably warm temperatures, this month will go on record as the driest November in 83 years - which is as long as records have been kept. And it's not just this month.

With no significant rainfall thus far, the dire predictions regarding this winter have become a reality, the Water Authority said Thursday. With November nearing its end, Lake Kinneret will likely receive the least amount of water it has ever received since records started being kept in 1927.

No rain, the dryness and warm temperatures have increased the evaporation rates off the lake, such that it is losing about half a centimeter a day. It is already a meter below the bottom red line. The lake is also expected to break the record set in 2001 for least amount of drinking water available in the month of November.

After the driest November in the north in 48 years, it doesn't look like the situation will be getting any better next month either, the Water Authority said. Their forecasters fear the dry spell will continue into December and further lower the water levels in the aquifers and springs, in addition to Lake Kinneret.

The cabinet is set to discuss an emergency water plan to take the country through the next two years next Sunday. After seven years of little rainfall and no bumper years expected in the near future, the situation is expected to get worse before it gets better.

The situation will only begin to get better, the Water Authority believes, in 2013, when all of the desalination plants will be producing 600 million cubic meters of water a year. While that amount won't erase the deficit caused by seven or maybe even nine straight years of little rainfall, it is believed that it will eventually enable the stabilization of the situation. By taking the full burden of providing water away from Divine will, it should provide a buffer to enable the natural reservoirs to gradually replenish.

The situation would be considerably worse right now if three desalination plants weren't producing 300 million cubic meters of water a year already.

What they're not telling you here is that Israel is the World leader in desalination technology, but the government kept watching its technology leaders sell their wares to others instead of buying it themselves for years on end. Last year was the only year in the last seven that we exceeded the average annual rainfall, and we didn't exceed it by much. It wasn't enough.

And it gets worse. If - God forbid - Israel turns over control of Judea and Samaria's water resources to the 'Palestinians,' it will be turning over control of one billion cubic meters of water per year. By comparison, our entire residential consumption (which is still considered quite high for this region) is between 600 and 700 million cubic meters.

On Monday, we will have our second fast for rain this month. Things are getting desperate here.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Monday morning defended Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's position regarding the renewal of the settlement construction freeze in exchange for an American security package.

This is one of the most profound Christian articles that I have ever read (from yesterday's Jerusalem Post, no less!).

I believe the author is on to something! I believe the Lord told me basically the same thing when I was saved thirty years ago and when my son and I went to Israel this past January we stayed outside the city on the Mt. of Olives. Christians still are outside the camp, bearing Jesus' reproach!

Zionist Christians might be from Israel’s ‘Ten Lost tribes’

After nearly two millennia of animosity and distrust, we see large numbers of Christians loving Jews.

We are witnessing an amazing turn of events in Jewish/Christian history. After nearly two millennia of animosity and distrust, we see large numbers of Christians loving Jews. And Jews worldwide are responding and appreciating Christians for their friendship and strong support of Israel. Perhaps no greater evidence of this new congeniality is the very magazine you are holding: a special monthly edition of The Jerusalem Post dedicated to Christian lovers of Zion.

This new mutual warmth has caused many Jews and Christians to remark that we have more in common with each other – in spite of our different beliefs regarding Jesus – than we do with many of our co-religionists. For we are as far removed from our Jimmy Carters and Reverend Wrights as the Jewish Zionists are from their Noam Chomskys and Richard Goldstones.

The swiftness of the change has also caused many within the Christian Zionist movement to wonder if there isn’t more going on here. Is our sudden passionate defense of Israel being driven by something deeper than just our common biblical heritage? Could we actually be witnessing the fulfillment of the most prophesied event in the Bible – the reunion of the House of Israel with the House of Judah? More to the point, could we Christians be actual descendants of the missing Ten Tribes of the House of Israel, captured by Assyria and scattered among the nations in 722 BCE?

More and more Christians (myself included), and even some Jews, have come to this startling conclusion!

Although the event is foretold by all of Israel’s prophets, none described it more graphically than Ezekiel. Given a vision of a valley covered with dry bones, he was asked by an angel, “Son of man, can these bones live?” When he could not answer, the angel told him to command the breath [Holy Spirit] to breathe “on these slain that they may come to life.” So he did, “and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” He was then informed: “Son of man these bones are the whole house of Israel” (Ezekiel 37:1-14).

This powerful vision was soon followed by a command from the Lord to join two sticks together, reemphasizing the reunion of Judah and Israel. “And I will make them one nation in the Land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and no longer be divided into two kingdoms... My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd” (Ezekiel 37:22,24).

For those a bit hazy on their biblical history, let me back up a bit.

The breakup of the united kingdom of Israel into two separate nations is told in 1 Kings 11 and 12. There we read of God’s judgment on the House of David following the reign of Solomon. God had warned Solomon to repent of his idolatrous ways, but the king ignored God’s command. Consequently, 10 of the 12 tribes were ripped away to become a separate nation known as the House of Israel (often called “Ephraim,” after its largest tribe). The two remaining tribes, Judah and Benjamin, formed the southern kingdom and became known as the House of Judah. Both continued as separate kingdoms for another 200 years, often actually warring with one another.

Eventually God’s judgment fell again, but only on the northern kingdom. After God “divorced” the northern kingdom by declaring it to be “not My people” via the prophet Hosea, Assyria swept down and carried them off into the nations, where they assimilated and disappeared. As gentiles, they were now “excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in this world” (Ephesians 2:12).

God’s judgment finally caught up with Judah also about 100 years later, when she was exiled to Babylon for 70 years (and where her people were first called “Jews”). She eventually returned to the Land and lived there long enough to birth the man we Christians worship as the Messiah. One hundred and thirty years later, Judah suffered a second exile, this time being scattered to the four corners of the earth by the Roman legions in about 135 CE.

Now all 12 tribes were dispersed among the nations, until descendants of the House of Judah began to come home in the late 1800s. But the other 10 tribes of Israel are still missing.

Some contend that enough representatives of the northern kingdom were absorbed into the House of Judah before the Assyrian exile to say the whole nation is today represented by “the Jews.” But why would the prophets, many of whom wrote long after the exile of the northern kingdom, talk of the glorious return of the 10 tribes and their reunion with Judah if it had already taken place?

The bottom line is that more than 80% of Jacob’s family is still missing and have had 2,700 years to intermarry with every nationality. Today they probably number in the hundreds of millions. Where are they? How will we know them? And if we are in the Last Days, as most of us believe, how will they be found in time to be reunited with Judah?

What of the New Testament? Are there any suggestions there that the non-Jewish followers of Jesus could indeed be physical descendants of the scattered tribes? Once you begin to look, the clues are everywhere!

Start with the inauguration of the New Covenant by Jesus. Most Christians and Jews think this was something Jesus created for Christians. But when you read the words of the covenant you see it was promised only to the descendants of Judah and Israel through Jeremiah’s prophecy.

“Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them, declares the Lord.

“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (Jeremiah 31: 31,32; Hebrews 8:8-13)

We also have the apostle Paul saying clearly to the believers in Galatia: “If you belong to Messiah, you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise” (Galatians 3:29).

To the believers in Ephesus he writes that “you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ [...] that in himself he might make the two into one new man” (Ephesians 2:13-15).

Doesn’t that sound like the two joined sticks of Ezekiel?

And in his letter to the Roman church, Paul applies to the gentile followers the very words of hope that the prophet Hosea spoke to the banished northern kingdom, saying: “I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people.’ And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not My people,’ there they shall be called sons of the Living God” (Romans 9:25,26; Hoseah 1:10). And are not the followers of Jesus called “sons of God” by the Jewish writers of the New Testament?

Then there’s Paul’s figurative analogy in Romans 11 of the gentiles being wild olive branches grafted into the cultivated olive tree of Israel. But notice that we too are olive branches. The “wild olive tree” analogy fits perfectly with the northern kingdom scenario of a people who were simply let go.

We also have the apostle James greeting the whole church in the opening of his epistle, both Jew and gentile, as “the 12 tribes who are dispersed abroad” (James 1:1). That’s puzzled scholars for centuries.

And consider the statement by the author of Hebrews that, “Both he who sanctifies [referring to Jesus] and those who are sanctified are all from one [referring to Abraham], for which reason he is not ashamed to call them brethren” (Hebrews 2:11-16).

We also have John’s description of the heavenly city of Jerusalem in the book of Revelation having only 12 gates, each named after one of the 12 tribes of Israel (see Revelation 21:12). There is no gate marked “Christian.” Or any back door for “righteous gentiles.”

And of course there are these words of Jesus (who was of the tribe of Judah), spoken to his Jewish followers: “I am sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24). Not much room there for anyone outside the chosen line of Isaac, is there?

Speaking of not much room, many readers are no doubt thinking, “if this is true, how would so many Christians ever fit into Israel?” Although not all will come home, for only “a remnant will be saved” (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27), still the number would be quite large. That makes this prophecy by Isaiah all the more intriguing: “The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears, ‘The place is too cramped for me; make room for me that I may live here. Then you will say in your heart; Who has begotten these for me... Behold I was left alone, from where did these come?” (Isaiah 49: 20,21)

I guess the Lord Himself will eventually make it clear whether we Christian Zionists are the missing tribes. A recent news item even suggests a possible way. A new genetic study has shown that worldwide Jewry all share the same genome, proving they constitute “one family.” Maybe it’s time we non-Jewish lovers of Israel take the same test.

JERUSALEM – Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "shaking from fear" about the policies that President Obama will enact toward Israel after this week's midterm elections, a senior Palestinian Authority official told WND.

The PA official, as well as security sources in Egypt and Jordan, said they heard from the Obama administration an outline of a series of moves to pressure Israel after the Nov. 2 vote.

Among the moves would be holding back support for Israel when it comes to future resolutions condemning the Jewish state at the United Nations.

Also, the U.S. is likely to tacitly back a Palestinian threat to unilaterally declare a state at the U.N. Security Council if Netanyahu fails to reach an agreement with the PA.

The sources said the Obama administration has already quietly dropped U.S. opposition to PA President Mahmoud Abbas forging a unity deal with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

G20 reaches deal on reform of IMF

The Group of 20 leading economies has reached a surprise agreement on a landmark reform of the International Monetary Fund to give a bigger voice to developing countries, reflecting a broader shift of global economic power.

At least two service members discharged for being gay began the process to re-enlist after the Pentagon's Tuesday announcement.

A federal judge in California who overturned the 17-year policy last week rejected the government's latest effort on Tuesday to halt her order telling the military to stop enforcing the law. Before her ruling, government lawyers told Phillips they would appeal if she rejected their request.

420 banks demand 1-world currency

International finance group seeks remedy to looming exchange wars

The Institute of International Finance, a group that represents 420 of the world's largest banks and finance houses, has issued yet another call for a one-world global currency, Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.

"A core group of the world's leading economies need to come together and hammer out an understanding," Charles Dallara, the Institute of International Finance's managing director, told the Financial Times.

An IIF policy letter authored by Dallara and dated Oct. 4 made clear that global currency coordination was needed, in the group's view, to prevent a looming currency war.

"The narrowly focused unilateral and bilateral policy actions seen in recent months – including many proposed and actual measures on trade, currency intervention and monetary policy – have contributed to worsening underlying macroeconomic imbalances," Dallara wrote. "They have also led to growing protectionist pressures as countries scramble for export markets as a source of growth."

Dallard encouraged a return to the G-20 commitment to utilize International Monetary Fund special drawing rights to create an international one-world currency alternative to the U.S. dollar as a new standard of foreign-exchange reserves.

Likewise, a July United Nations report called for the replacement of the dollar as the standard for holding foreign-exchange reserves in international trade with a new one-world currency issued by the International Monetary Fund.

The 176-page report, titled "United Nations World Economic and Social Survey 2010," was issued at a high-level meeting of the U.N. Economic and Social Council and published in its entirety on the U.N. website.

How Chinagate Led to 9/11

As the 9/11 Commission tries to uncover what kept intelligence agencies from preventing September 11, it has overlooked two vital factors: Jamie Gorelick and Bill Clinton. Gorelick, who has browbeaten the current administration, helped erect the walls between the FBI, CIA and local investigators that made 9/11 inevitable. However, she was merely expanding the policy Bill Clinton established with Presidential Decision Directive 24. What has been underreported is why the policy came about: to thwart investigations into the Chinese funding of Clinton’s re-election campaign, and the favors he bestowed on them in return.

In April, CNSNews.com staff writer Scott Wheeler reported that a senior U.S. government official and three other sources claimed that the 1995 memo written by Jamie Gorelick, who served as the Clinton Justice Department’s deputy attorney general from 1994 to 1997, created "a roadblock" to the investigation of illegal Chinese donations to the Democratic National Committee. But the picture is much bigger than that. The Gorelick memo, which blocked intelligence agents from sharing information that could have halted the September 11 hijacking plot, was only the mortar in a much larger maze of bureaucratic walls whose creation Gorelick personally oversaw.

It’s a story the 9/11 Commission may not want to hear, and one that Gorelick – now incredibly a member of that commission – has so far refused to tell. But it is perhaps the most crucial one to understanding the intentional breakdown of intelligence that led to the September 11 disaster.

Nearly from the moment Gorelick took office in the Clinton Justice Department, she began acting as the point woman for a large-scale bureaucratic reorganization of intelligence agencies that ultimately placed the gathering of intelligence, and decisions about what – if anything – would be done with it under near-direct control of the White House. In the process, more than a dozen CIA and FBI investigations underway at the time got caught beneath the heel of the presidential boot, investigations that would ultimately reveal massive Chinese espionage as millions in illegal Chinese donations filled Democratic Party campaign coffers.

When Gorelick took office in 1994, the CIA was reeling from the news that a Russian spy had been found in CIA ranks, and Congress was hungry for a quick fix. A month after Gorelick was sworn in, Bill Clinton issued Presidential Decision Directive 24. PDD 24 put intelligence gathering under the direct control of the president’s National Security Council, and ultimately the White House, through a four-level, top-down chain of command set up to govern (that is, stifle) intelligence sharing and cooperation between intelligence agencies. From the moment the directive was implemented, intelligence sharing became a bureaucratic nightmare that required negotiating a befuddling bureaucracy that stopped directly at the President’s office.

First, the directive effectively neutered the CIA by creating a National Counterintelligence Center (NCI) to oversee the Agency. NCI was staffed by an FBI agent appointed by the Clinton administration. It also brought multiple international investigations underway at the time under direct administrative control. The job of the NCI was to “implement counterintelligence activities,” which meant that virtually everything the CIA did, from a foreign intelligence agent’s report to polygraph test results, now passed through the intelligence center that PDD 24 created.

NCI reported to an administration-appointed National Counterintelligence Operations Board (NCOB) charged with “discussing counterintelligence matters.” The NCOB in turn reported to a National Intelligence Policy Board, which coordinated activities between intelligence agencies attempting to work together. The policy board reported “directly” to the president through the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

The result was a massive bureaucratic roadblock for the CIA – which at the time had a vast lead on the FBI in foreign intelligence – and for the FBI itself, which was also forced to report to the NCOB. This hampered cooperation between the two entities. All this occurred at a time when both agencies were working separate ends of investigations that would eventually implicate China in technology transfers and the Democratic Party in a Chinese campaign cash grab.

And the woman charged with selling this plan to Congress, convincing the media and ultimately implementing much of it? Jamie Gorelick.

Many in Congress, including some Democrats, found the changes PDD 24 put in place baffling: they seemed to do nothing to insulate the CIA from infiltration while devastating the agency’s ability to collect information. At the time, Democrat House Intelligence Chairman Dan Glickman referred to the plan as “regulatory gobbledygook." Others questioned how FBI control of CIA intelligence would foster greater communication between the lower levels of the CIA and FBI, now that all information would have to be run through a multi-tier bureaucratic maze that only went upward.

Despite their doubts, Gorelick helped the administration sell the plan on Capitol Hill. The Directive stood.

But that wasn’t good enough for the Clinton administration, which wanted control over every criminal and intelligence investigation, domestic and foreign, for reasons that would become apparent in a few years. For the first time in Justice Department history, a political appointee, Richard Scruggs – an old crony or Attorney General Janet Reno’s from Florida – was put in charge of the Office of Intelligence and Policy Review (OIPR). OIPR is the Justice Department agency in charge of requesting wiretap and surveillance authority for criminal and intelligence investigations on behalf of investigative agencies from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court. The court’s activities are kept secret from the public.

A year after PDD 24, with the new bureaucratic structure loaded with administration appointees, Gorelick drafted the 1995 memo Attorney General John Ashcroft mentioned while testifying before the 9/11 Commission. The Gorelick memo, and other supporting memos released in recent weeks, not only created walls within the intelligence agencies that prevented information sharing among their own agents, but effectively walled these agencies off from each other and from outside contact with the U.S. prosecutors instrumental in helping them gather the evidence needed to make the case for criminal charges.

The only place left to go with intelligence information – particularly for efforts to share intelligence information or obtain search warrants – was straight up Clinton and Gorelick’s multi-tiered chain of command. Instead, information lethal to the Democratic Party languished inside the Justice Department, trapped behind Gorelick’s walls.

The implications were enormous. In her letter of protest to Attorney General Reno over Gorelick’s memo, United States Attorney Mary Jo White spelled them out: “These instructions leave entirely to OIPR and the (Justice Department) Criminal Division when, if ever, to contact affected U.S. attorneys on investigations including terrorism and espionage,” White wrote. (Like OIPR, the Criminal Division is also part of the Justice Department.)

Without an enforcer, the walls Gorelick’s memo put in place might not have held. But Scruggs acted as that enforcer, and he excelled at it. Scruggs maintained Gorelick’s walls between the FBI and Justice's Criminal Division by threatening to automatically reject any FBI request for a wiretap or search warrant if the Bureau contacted the Justice Department's Criminal Division without permission. This deprived the FBI, and ultimately the CIA, of gathering advice and assistance from the Criminal Division that was critical in espionage and terrorist cases.

It is no coincidence that this occurred at the same time both the FBI and the CIA were churning up evidence damaging to the Democratic Party, its fundraisers, the Chinese and ultimately the Clinton administration itself. Between 1994 and the 1996 election, as Chinese dollars poured into Democratic coffers, Clinton struggled to reopen high-tech trade to China. Had agents confirmed Chinese theft of weapons technology or its transfer of weapons technology to nations like Pakistan, Iran and Syria, Clinton would have been forced by law and international treaty to react.

Gorelick’s appointment to the job at Justice in 1994 occurred during a period in which the FBI had begun to systematically investigate technology theft by foreign powers. For the first time, these investigations singled out the U.S. chemical, telecommunications, aircraft and aerospace industries for intelligence collection.

By the time Gorelick wrote the March 1995 memo that sealed off American intelligence agencies from each other and the outside world, all of the most critical Chinagate investigations by American intelligence agencies were already underway. Some of their findings were damning:

In an investigation originally instigated by the CIA, the FBI was beginning its search for the source of the leak of W-88 nuclear warhead technology to China among the more than 1,000 people who had access to the secrets. Despite Justice Department stonewalling and the Department’s refusal to seek wiretap authority in 1997, the investigation eventually led to Wen Ho Lee and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The FBI first collected extensive evidence in 1995 linking illegal Democratic Party donations to China, according to the Congressional Record. But Congress and the Director of the CIA didn’t find out about the Justice Department’s failure to act upon that evidence until 1997, safely after the 1996 election.

According to classified CIA documents leaked to the Washington Times, between 1994 and 1997, the CIA learned that China sold Iran missile technology, a nuclear fission reactor, advanced air-defense radar and chemical agents. The Chinese also provided 5,000 ring magnets to Pakistan, used in producing weapons-grade uranium. The Chinese also provided uranium fuel for India's reactors.

In many cases the CIA resorted to leaking classified information to the media, in an effort to bypass the administration’s blackout.

Gorelick knew these facts well. While Clinton may have refused to meet with top CIA officials, Gorelick didn’t. According to a 1996 report by the legal news service American Lawyer Media, Gorelick and then-Deputy Director of the CIA George Tenet met every other week to discuss intelligence and intelligence sharing.

But those in the Clinton administration weren’t the only ones to gain from the secrecy. In 1994, the McDonnell Douglas Corporation transferred military-use machine tools to the China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation that ended up in the hands of the Chinese army. The sale occurred despite Defense Department objections. McDonnell Douglas was a client of the Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin, L.L.P. (now called Baker Botts), the Washington, D.C., law firm where Gorelick worked for 17 years and was a partner. Ray Larroca, another partner in the firm, represented McDonnell in the Justice Department’s investigation of the technology transfer.

In 1995, General Electric, a former client of Gorelick’s, also had much to lose if the damaging information the CIA and the FBI had reached Congress. At the time, GE was publicly lobbying for a lucrative permit to assist the Chinese in replacing coal-fired power stations with nuclear plants. A 1990 law required that the president certify to Congress that China was not aiding in nuclear proliferation before U.S. companies could execute the business agreement.

Moreover, in 1995, Michael Armstrong, then the CEO of Hughes Electronics – a division of General Electric and another client of Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin – was publicly lobbying Clinton to switch satellite export controls from the State Department to the Commerce Department. After the controls were lifted, Hughes and another company gave sensitive data to the Chinese, equipment a Pentagon study later concluded would allow China to develop intercontinental and submarine-launched ballistic missiles aimed at American targets. Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin partner Randall Turk represented Hughes in the Congressional, State Department, and Justice Department investigations that resulted.

The Cox Report, which detailed Chinese espionage for Congress during the period, revealed that FBI surveillance caught Chinese officials frantically trying to keep Democratic donor Johnny Chung from divulging any information that would be damaging to Hughes Electronics. Chung funneled $300,000 in illegal contributions from the Chinese military to the DNC between 1994 and 1996.

It was this web of investigations that led Gorelick and Bill Clinton to erect the wall between intelligence agencies that resulted in the toppling of the Twin Towers. The connections go on and on, but they all lead back to Gorelick, the one person who could best explain how the Clinton administration neutered the American intelligence agencies that could have stopped the September 11 plot. Yet another high crime will have been committed if the September 11 Commission doesn’t demand testimony from her. (I don't remember if it did).

The US supremacy as the top world economy will end sooner than many people believe, so gold is a better investment than the dollar despite it hitting a new record, Tom Winnifrith, CEO at financial services firm Rivington Street Holdings, told CNBC.com Monday.

Gold [XAU=X 1302.8 -6.00 (-0.46%) ] hit a new record high Monday and silver [XAG=X 21.69 -0.18 (-0.82%) ] rose to another 30-year peak as investors were worried about the dollar weakening further after the Federal Reserve hinted at more quantitative easing last week.

The US trade deficit and debt continue to grow and the authorities are reluctant to address the problem, preferring to print money, Winnifrith said.

"America is practically owned by China," he said.

One of the most popular politicians in the country right now isn’t even running in this election year. Former President Bill Clinton had by far the highest positive rating when Americans were asked in a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll to rate their feelings on political figures.

A LETTER FROM A VIETNAM VETERAN TO OUR NATION, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

When a nation sins, especially one that God has blessed beyond any nation that ever existed - when it sins the grevious sins that we have sinned, God will hand it over to its enemies. That is what He did to Israel, over and over. That is Biblical. That is what He is doing to us now.

We have told Him He is not welcome in our courts, in our schools, in our government or anywhere in our public life. We have been busy for 40-50 years stripping any mention of Him from the public domain. Looking around the nation, it's obvious that we have traded our God for a god of lust, of the flesh:

For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. (Phillipians 3:18,19)

In the spiritual vacuum that this has created we have brought in other religions, new age philosophies, atheism, satanism, witchcraft and the occult. Rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Author of Life, we have embraced a culture of death. We have become a nation of followers of the devil and he has come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). He has captured our children and turned them away from us or against us. If a baby is fortunate enough to make it out of their mother's womb, they will be very fortunate if they survive their childhood without some psycological or physical damage.

In our public school system, we have thrown out the Bible. We have told Jesus that He is not welcome. In the vacuum we have allowed harry potter and witchcraft, Twilight and vampires, zombies and every religion under the sun.

We are a nation of blasphemers. We use the Name of God in our conversations, not to honor and respect Him but to bring His Holy Name down to our level.

Listen to kids on the street, on TV or in a public school. Notice they begin their conversations now with "god", interjecting plenty of "my god" and "oh god" throughout. Little blasphemers! They are not talking or praying to God. They are talking to each other. They are just copying what they have heard at home or on TV.

There is no fear of God in this nation. We sin greviously and export our sins to other nations of the world. Through TV, printed media and the internet. We are by far the greatest exporter of pornography to the world. Our women parade themselves in the public domain semi-nude. Lust is in and it doesn't matter if it's directed at a single or a married person. Having thrown out the Ten Commandments and the Command from God not to covet thy neighbor's wife, everyone is open game. Even the same sex. What a shocking statement but sadly, true! As a matter of fact, I heard a reporter say recently, "It's now fashionable for the youth to have a homosexual experience". I may be paraphrasing that a bit but I heard it and from what I have seen I believe it. Does that drive you to your knees or do you celebrate that your children are enlightened and have cast off their ancestors' prejudiced puritanical beliefs?

Read this carefully and tell me, does this sound like the United States of America?

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Is there any sign of repentance in this nation? Sadly, none that I have seen. None that I have heard. We did have a Mormon TV commentator lead up to half a million people to the Lincoln Memorial recently and I heard some of the Christians there cry out to God in prayer and to stand up for righteousness. I don't discount this. Our nation needs all the spiritual help it can get. A cult is not the answer though.

We are in Critical Condition! We are now in the Emergency Room, on life support and if the oil IV is withdrawn or disrupted, in any way, our nation will collapse and then be at the mercy of every vulture, jackal and wolf that even now are surrounding our body. Open borders and a steady influx of our enemies, dispersing into these United States, is a sure sign that our demise is certain and approaching rapidly.

I believe we are in the end times as spoken about in the Bible. I believe the world elite are now forming the fourth and last beast kingdom spoken about in the Holy Bible, Daniel, chapter 7:

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. (Daniel 7:7-9)

Jesus Christ is the Answer. He is able to save us, each one of us, individually. He has a Plan. It is in the Bible. None of these things have taken Him by surprise. He moved upon His Apostles and Prophets, by His Holy Spirit, to record these end time happening thousands of years ago (2 Peter 1:21).

The Bible proclaims:

....behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Are you Born Again? (John 3:3) Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life and to forgive your sins? The world around us is crumbling; spiritually, financially, politically and physically. How is that change working for ya? As I look around, it's not working at all!

Jesus is the answer. His Word says:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10)

Reading that, did you notice the part, "confession is made unto salvation"? Confession before men is an intregal part of salvation. Jesus said:

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 10:32)

Have you confessed Jesus before men? He said:

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father's, and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:26)

Jesus is coming soon. Make sure He is in your heart. Don't leave home without Him!

Pray and read your Bible everyday. Develop a testimony of what great things God has done for you and tell someone. This will encourage them and give the devil a black eye.

Clinton philanthropy meeting pushes economic growth

(Reuters) - Former President Bill Clinton kicked off his philanthropic summit on Tuesday by pushing corporations and nonprofit groups to promote economic growth and prepare for a growing number of natural disasters.

More than 1,300 people including heads of state like President Barack Obama, business leaders such as Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, humanitarians and celebrities are due to attend the sixth annual Clinton Global Initiative.

As countries struggle to recover from the global financial crisis, Clinton, president from 1993 to 2001, said the private sector and governments could work together to grow economies and tackle the world's problems.

"I hope when we come out of this meeting every one of you will have a clearer idea about how you can best use your resources in this climate to promote more economic growth in all the countries represented here," Clinton told the opening plenary of the three-day meeting.

Clinton also hoped a better way of responding to and minimizing natural and man-made disasters would be developed.

"There's every reason to believe that the incidence of economically devastating natural disasters will accelerate around the world with the changing of the climate," he said.

To attend the meeting, commitments must be made to tackle economic empowerment, education, environment and energy, and health. Clinton said that by the start of this year's meeting nearly 300 pledges valued at $6 billion had already been made.

"Unless we played a meaningful role in creating sustainable communities where we serve our consumers then we will never have a sustainable business," Muhtar Kent, chief executive of The Coca-Cola Company, told the Clinton meeting during a discussion on empowering girls and women.

He pledged to empower 5 million female entrepreneurs throughout the company's global business system by 2020 by building on successful practices. In Africa the company uses an independent network of entrepreneurs, who use mainly bicycles and pushcarts to distribute product to retailers, and he said this system had been expanded to Asia and South America..

For the first time, Clinton has broken out empowering women and girls as a specific area of action for his meeting.

"There's still a lot of places in the world where women are still part-human and part-property and where men define their meaning in life partly by their instinctive merit and partly by their ability ... to control somebody else," he said.

GOOD PHILANTHROPY IS GOOD BUSINESS

Clinton, who pursued peace in the Middle East as U.S. president, also brought together Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Israeli President Shimon Peres on Tuesday to discuss sustaining Middle East peace once a deal was agreed.

"We have quite a good chance of achieving an agreement ... I think the chances are at least 50/50, perhaps better, that there will be an agreement," said Clinton of the Middle East peace talks, which restarted this month.

Fayyad said that once a peace deal was agreed he wanted to see a rapid increase in sustainable growth and development in the region, while Peres pointed to agricultural development to avoid hunger and healthcare.

When Clinton's initiative began, corporations tended to show up and write checks to fund humanitarian programs. Now many see philanthropy in terms of investment opportunities.

Proctor & Gamble chief executive Bob McDonald said his company would pledge to provide 2 billion packets of water purifier a year. The company has distributed 2.4 billion packets over the past six years.

"It's good business as well as good philanthropy and consumers around the world today ... want to know what they are buying into when they spend their dollars for products," McDonald told the Clinton Global Initiative.

Including the commitments already made at the 2010 meeting, there have been nearly 2,000 pledges made since 2005, which are worth $63 billion and have improved nearly 300 million lives, the Clinton Global Initiative said.

Bill Clinton's philanthropic meeting was found to be the most popular summit for chief executives in 2009, according to a study by public relations firm Weber Shandwick.

Attendees pay $20,000 to be there and the rules state if participants do not make or fail to keep a commitment they cannot return.

The United States has stepped up pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to resolve the crisis over the looming end of the settlement freeze. During talks between the two leaders with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh on Tuesday, a number of ideas were raised in an effort to achieve a breakthrough.

Abbas is scheduled to visit Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon for direct talks at the Prime Minister's official residence in the city. This will be the first such meeting in the capital since Netanyahu's took office last year.

Neither side offered much information on Tuesday about what is expected during the meeting between the two leaders today.

Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina gave a statement saying that the negotiations were very serious but the issue of settlements constitutes an obstacle to peace.

Netanyahu is considering traveling to New York Saturday after the end of the Yom Kippur holiday to attend a summit being organized by former President Bill Clinton at the United Nations. Abbas is also scheduled to attend the meeting, which will be held in parallel with the UN General Assembly meeting.

If Netanyahu travels to the U.S. he will also visit American President Barack Obama in Washington on Monday or Tuesday.

The largest airborne military exercises since the collapse of the Soviet Union have kicked off in central Russia, an airborne troops spokesman said on Tuesday.

The exercises, to be held in the Kostroma, Yaroslavl and Ivanovo regions until August 28, will feature over 4,000 servicemen and 300 hardware items, Col. Alexander Cherednik said.

I woke up yesterday morning feeling very defeated and depressed and that is not like me.

I felt like my Christian life has been a failure.

I felt like something was wrong with me and I have failed our Lord and Saviour.

I felt like, even though my prayer life was better than ever, for some reason, our Lord just wasn't using me at all to affect anyone spiritually, permanently.

Do you know what I mean?

And pain. No, not anywhere as bad as some of my brothers and sisters are enduring but for the last six months or so both my DW and I have had to take alot of aspirin for aches and pains and back aches and sinus.

Then out of the blue (like our Lord does! ) He spoke to my spirit this scripture (the bolded is what He spoke, then I looked up the passage):

Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Thy dead men shall live, [together with] my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (Isaiah 26:17-21)

On Easter, 1984 the Lord impressed upon me that we would go the way of the cross, as He did.

In the 80's, under the Presidentcy of Ronald Regan, it was popular to be a Christian and we had great favour with people, especially here in the USA.

That would be like it was when Jesus came into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey and the people saying, "Hosannah, Hosannah, blessed is He that's comes in the Name of the Lord".

Under Clinton it began to change and we began to be persecuted. Can you remember Kenneth Starr (a Christian) and their battle over all of the Clinton's gates (Whitewatergate, filegate, travelgate, Chinagate, etc.) and the Impeachment? It seems Clinton has prevaled, like the a/c will prevail over God's people during the Tribulation (Revelation 20:4)

Now we are here:
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46)

We are in pain, as He was in pain. We are wondering when deliverence will come, as Jesus wondered when it would come.

We feel forsaken and so far from being helped (see Psalm 22 for the whole "forsaken" process). It is so revealing and so good!!

Next Jesus gave up the Ghost, the graves were opened and the dead walked into Jerusalem!

There is where we are!

If ever a nation fits this description, it is the United States of Amercia. We have more Bibles, churches, "Christians", than any nation in the world, by far!

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

His Gospel Truth has shined upon this nation. Our foundations are inscribed with God's Scriptures from His Holy Word; from Washington, D.C. to every state, county, city and town across the land. This nation has had Supernatural Visitations from God from time to time since its foundation, ushering in Godliness and Holiness; whole cities and towns closing down bars, ungodly businesses, many sinners being convicted of their sins by the Presence of the Holy Ghost and crying out for mercy, being set free and saved and turning their lives around to lead Godly lives in their communities. Multitudes of individuals have, over the course of our history, been born again and lived Godly lives, as a witness to our Lord's Presence and Power.

Even today there are true Christians, doing their best to stand in the gap and intercede for this nation but they are getting as "scarce as hen's teeth" and are themselves being persecuted, mocked, scorned and scoffed at.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

"God Bless America" signs are everywhere and appeared by the multitude after 9/11. "In God We Trust" is on our coins and paper money, carried in everyone's pockets or purse. Church buildings are on most every corner in every community throughout the land. Sunday has been the chosen Lord's Day of our Christian herritage and until the last 30-40 years we observed "Blue Laws" that ordered all businesses closed on the Sunday Sabbath unless deemed essential for survival (food being one). These Blue Laws dated back to 1610!

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

The overwhelming majority of citizens of the United States of America prescribe to the erroneous and diabolical fallicies of "evolution", "humanism" and "separation of church and state". All of these concepts are antichrist in principle and practice.

The END of the United States of America (a nation I loved and fought for) is upon us and we have not repented of our great sins against our Holy, Loving and Just God but we have continued to practice our rebellion openly before the world and our Father in Heaven and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Not only do we openly defy our Creator but we EXPORT our sins, our ungodly lifestyle and our rebellion through the TV, print and movie mediums to the rest of the planet, showing them how to openly defy and dishonor our God and seemingly "get away with it".

Now, can we understand why our nation is being given over to our enemies and the enemies of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ?

"Pogo" said it long ago. I remember seeing the cartoon in our local newspaper, sometime in the '60s:

So, what are the conditions that God requires of a nation to stay His Hand of retribution and to turn from chastening or destroying it?

The formula, so to speak, is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Here God is talking about His people, the Christians. Not the heathen, not the sinner, not the American. "My people, which are called by My Name..."

What is required?

1. Humble themselves (Seek God's Will and not their own. His Will is found in the Bible)

2. pray (Develop a personal relationship as a child with their Father. Repent of all sins and ask for His help. Intercede for family, self, friends and neighbors)

3. seek My Face (Read the Bible. Pray and study the Bible and begin to apply God's teachings to their everyday life)

4. turn from their wicked ways (RIGHT HERE! Right here is where this nation has failed miserably. We have not turned from our wicked ways. Since 9/11, when we put up the "God Bless America" signs and went back to visit a "church" for awhile, we have become more wicked and more vile. We have become a pagan nation, a nation of tatooed, pierced, vulgar and blasphemous rebels who openly mock, scoff and persecute the things and the people of God. We have declared God "persona non grata" in our nation but have openly welcomed witches, warlocks, satanists, hindus, muslims, new agers, idols, atheists and any other religion, cult or foreign idea.

God's Word is True! It never changes! Therefore, He will not hear from heaven, He will not forgive our sins and He will not heal our land.

As a matter of fact, according to His Holy Word and the pattern of His Judgments, this is what we find ourselves facing today:

Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

The Quartet is working on a declaration to be used as a basis for direct peac talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton announced on Thursday according to Reuters.

Ashton was confident that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas could be brought to the table, according to a letter seen by Reuters.

Asked whether the league would back direct talks, Hamad bin Jassim said: "Of course, there is agreement, but agreement over the principles of what will be discussed and the manner of the direct negotiations."

It would be up to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to decide whether to hold talks, based on whatever conditions he sees fit, Jassim said.

Jassim added that he was "full of doubts" about Israel's seriousness regarding final status negotiations.

Qatar heads the Arab League committee on the peace process.

Abbas was in Cairo Thursday, attending the Arab League meeting aimed at deciding whether to add the organization's weight to U.S. and Israeli pressure for face-to-face talks.

Abbas is under strong U.S. and European pressure to restart direct talks that were frozen in 2008. The U.S. has for the last few months been mediating indirect negotiations between the two sides, but the Palestinian leader said he would only move toward direct talks if Israel agrees to a complete halt in settlement construction and accepts a Palestinian state in territories seized in the 1967 Six Day War - the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.

"When I receive written assurances [about] accepting the 1967 border and halting the settlement [building], I will go immediately to the direct talks," Abbas was quoted as saying in remarks reported by Egypt's state-owned news agency Thursday.

The Arab League also outlined three conditions, saying any future round of talks would be the "final phase" of negotiations.

In a letter addressed to the United States administration, the league said (1) it needed a clear timeframe, (2) specific reference terms and (3) a monitoring mechanism in order to support such direct talks.

"I assure you I am not of the intention to enter into negotiations, without a time frame, without clear references and without monitoring," Arab League chief Amr Moussa said at a press conference in Cairo.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a response to the Arab League announcement saying that he was ready to begin direct peace talks in the coming days. "By way of direct negotiations," he said, "a speedy peace agreement can be achieved."

Perry is a former advisor to Yasser Arafat and was the source of a recent Foreign Policy article charging that General David Petraeus had said that Israel's refusal to agree to the creation of the Palestinian Authority as a state endangers American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Petraeus denied the report.

BP oil leak setback: 'Top hat' removed, oil flow unhindered

WASHINGTON — Workers pulled the "top hat" collecting crude oil from BP's gushing Deepwater Horizon well Wednesday morning in a major setback to efforts to contain the leak.

Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, the Obama administration's point man on the BP oil leak, told reporters in his daily briefing that the long term impact of the decision was uncertain, but video from the leak showed crude gushing unhindered into the water for the first time since the "top hat" device, also referred to as the Lower Marine Riser Package, was set in place June 3.

It was unclear how soon the top hat might be put back in place, Allen said. He said he had only learned of the problem as he was headed to the Coast Guard headquarters briefing room in Washington.

The incident came a day after BP collected the most crude oil captured at the site -- more than 27,000 barrels, including 10,429 that were taken burned by the Q4000 drilling rig.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon calls U.S. world’s ‘biggest drug addict’

In an essay published on the Mexican government’s website Sunday, Calderón wrote: “The origin of our violence problem begins with the fact that Mexico is located next to the country that has the highest levels of drug consumption in the world. It is as if our neighbor were the biggest drug addict in the world.”

The U.S. threw a state dinner for Mexico three weeks ago, but diplomatic relations between the two countries have become increasingly rocky in recent days. Long-standing tensions over immigration have been aggravated by a new Arizona law aimed at cracking down on illegal aliens in the state.

Speaking May 20 before a joint meeting of Congress, Calderón attacked the law, calling it a “terrible idea” and criticizing the use of “racial profiling.”

He found support for that sentiment not just from Democrats in government – some of whom stood and applauded his comments – but also from clergy. Cardinal Roger M. Mahoney of Los Angeles likened the powers given to police by the Arizona law to “Nazism.”

Following President Obama’s announcement last month that he would send up to 1,200 more troops to patrol the border, a 15-year-old Mexican boy was shot by a U.S. Border Patrol agent. The incident fueled criticisms from those who, like Mahoney, favor less stringent restrictions on illegal immigrants.

Calderón’s essay focuses not on problems at the border but on internal problems in his country. In the introduction of the essay, Calderón emphasizes that his country is waging not a war on drugs but a war for “public safety.” He also writes that the government is “determinedly fighting organized crime because … it has significantly disturbed the peace of citizens.”

In section II, which is titled “causes of the problem,” the “consumption of drugs in the United States” gets top billing.

The anti-Israel flotilla has turned the tide of world opinion against Israel, Fatah leaders in Lebanon say, and the time is ripe for a mass civilian charge against Israel’s border.

Mounir Al-Makdah, a leading Fatah leader in Lebanon, says plans are being made for a mass charge against Israel’s northern border. “What can Israel do,” he asks, “kill the entire Palestinian nation [sic]?”

“And even if they kill all those who take part in the march, the number of remaining Palestinians will still be more than all the Jews in the world.”

Al-Makdah told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Sapir that the plans for the march are being made via letters to thousands of “Palestinians” living around the world inviting them to take part. “It could be that they will just break through the border, with their children and their elderly. What will Israel be able to do?”

“A wind of change has begun to blow,” he said, “and Israel has begun to be a yoke not only for the Palestinian nation, but for the whole world.”

“The freedom flotilla brings a message of the beginning of the end of Israel,” Al-Makdah said.

He made similar remarks to a French news agency earlier this week, saying that such marches should take place from all areas that border on Israel – Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and Judea/Samaria. TEHRAN - Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards are ready to provide a military escort to cargo ships trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, a representative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday.

"Iran's Revolutionary Guards naval forces are fully prepared to escort the peace and freedom convoys to Gaza with all their powers and capabilities," Ali Shirazi, Khamenei's representative inside the Revolutionary Guards, was quoted as saying by the semi-official Mehr news agency.

Any intervention by the Iranian military would be considered highly provocative by Israel which accuses Iran of supplying weapons to Hamas, the Islamist movement which rules Gaza.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is weighing the possibility of traveling to the Gaza Strip in order to "break the Israeli blockade," the Lebanese newspaper al-Mustaqbal reported on Saturday, according to Army Radio.

Erdogan reportedly raised the idea in conversations with close associates and even informed the United States of his intention to ask the Turkish Navy to accompany another aid flotilla to Gaza. The Americans asked Erdogan to delay his plans, in light of tensions on the region, the Lebanese report said.

According to the report, Erdogan is under intense political pressure to cancel security agreements with Israel. The Turkish military establishment, however, strongly opposes the idea of cutting security ties with Israel.

Erdogan has fiercely criticized Israeli for Monday's raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla, in which nine people, all Turkish citizens, were killed.

Well, we haven't learned our lessons.

Look at the President's picture to the right of this article. See the umbrella? He is holding it because of the TORINCIAL DOWNPOUR that came down upon his head right before he was going to give a speech to honor our war casualties on Memorial Day, day before yesterday.
Needless to say, he didn't get to give it. He left and everyone else left.

When President Bush was declaring the backing of the United States of America for a palestinian state (the road map) in the UN we had 9/11.

When President Bush ramroded PM Sharon to drive his people from Gaza, Hurricane Katrina was formed in the Carribean on the same day.

Now, with President Obama, we have a relentless effort to stop all construction activity in Judea/Samaria and East Jerusalem and plans to drive the Israeli's from their hearland and their capitol and give it to their enemies.

This deal has been agreed to be finished and signed during a four month period, from May - September, 2010 by both sides.

With the king and his minions (Biden, Clinton, Mitchell, Jones, et.al.) we are orchastrating our own destruction by our God Who is very angry at us.

Here is what I predict, based on the Word of God, over the next three month period, as we continue to come against the Word of God and His plans for His people in Israel and their promised land:

More calamities that we cannot fix.
More severe clamities that we cannot fix.
Our enemies gaining ground in our nation.
Our land vomiting out its inhabitants in various places.

I am basing this on reading the scriptures.

I believe Isaiah 28 says that the covenant will be signed and Samaria/Judea and East Jerusalem will be torn from the nation of Israel and given to her enemies. I believe our nation and part of it's capital will be torn and given to its enemies.

Obadiah speaks about an exhalted nation that turns on the people of Israel near the Day of the Lord. He prophsied that what this nation does to Israel will be exacted the same on it (Obadiah 1:15).

God have Mercy on this nation and wake up as many people as possible to pray and intercede in the short time we have left.

China to US: Put Your Fiscal House in Order

Sovereign debt troubles in Europe underscore how important it is for the United States to control its own borrowing as its indebtedness reaches concerning levels, a senior Chinese official said on Thursday.

With China facing criticism for holding its currency in a de facto dollar peg, assistant finance minister Zhu Guangyao shifted attention to Beijing's own worries about U.S. policies, especially its soaring deficit, ahead of high-level bilateral meetings next week.

There will be "quiet discussions" about the yuan at the Strategic and Economic Dialogue, but external pressure will only delay the exchange rate reform that China wants to implement, he told a news conference.

The global economy's more urgent need is for financial conditions to stabilize in Europe in the wake of Greece's debt woes, Zhu said.

"The European sovereign debt crisis is a challenge not just for the countries that are party to it, such as Greece. In fact, it is a challenge to the stability of the entire international financial market," he said.

"It concerns the recovery of the entire international economy, and so it demands a common response from the international community," he said.

China will look to coordinate its economic policies with the United States as a buffer against the turbulence and would also like the G20 group of nations to play a role in strengthening the global response, Zhu said.

But the United States needs to take a hard look at its own fiscal situation in the light of what has happened in Europe, he said.

"We hope that the U.S. deficit will fall as a proportion of GDP as the economy recovers and reach a sustainable level," Zhu said.

This is a matter of concern for China and it has noted that U.S. officials, including President Barack Obama, have promised to keep an eye on debt levels, he said.

China is the world's largest holder of U.S. Treasuries with $895.2 billion. It added to its stockpile in March for the first time in seven months.

Chinese officials, including Premier Wen Jiabao, last year prodded the Obama administration to avoid pursuing fiscal policies that could erode the value of those treasury holdings.
