Chris Sowers, Chief Meterologist for WeatherLine.com attributes this record tornado season to La Nina (the Christ Child).
Have you been keeping track of the calamitous occurances in the USA since the US Government has been forcing Israel to give up their promised land to their enemies?
These calamities are destroying homes in the US even as Israeli homes are being destroyed in Judea/Samaria and the land given to their ememies.
Giving up Gaza brought Katrina/Rita at the same time. Since the Annapolis Conference and the US has become more involved in forcing Israel to give up cities in Judea/Samaria (West Bank) calamities have accelerated in frequency and intensity. Our cities, in the Midwest especially, have been broken up too. The latest in Iowa brought 1/3 destruction of Parkersburg.
The Israeli/PA talks are intensifying and so are the tornadoes, storms and other wicked weather. Hurricane season is also here. It's reported that Israel has offered the PA over 90% of their God-given land. US administrators are activly involved in this challenge to the Word of God.
Going against the Word of God is costly. When the US forces Israel to give up East Jerusalem, this may bring an event (earthquake?) so monumental that it may create our demise. This may happen this year!
Are you ready to meet the Lord should a catastrophic event take you while you're sleeping, as it has others? If not, I suggest that you get down on your knees (humble yourself) and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart and life, today. Then read your Bible everyday and tell somebody. Confess Jesus before men so that He will confess you before His Father in Heaven. Amen!
How Many Tornadoes Have We Had So Far This Year?

Quite honestly the number of tornadoes that we've seen so far this year is absolutely incredible!!! To make things worse it has been the same areas that have been repeatedly hammered by mother nature time and time again this year.
Not only have the number of tornadoes soared so far but so has the number of fatalities caused by these powerful storms *.
So the big question at this point is....what's the cause to all of this severe weather? Blame it on La Nina** ! The phenomenon has been known for enhancing the severe weather season across the country so a rough season was to be expected. But I think we can all agree that just like the 2005 Hurricane Season, nobody could of foreseen this!!
Below you will see a chart that shows the number of tornadoes per month so far this year.
2008 Severe Weather Season
JANUARY ...... 79
FEBRUARY ..... 138
MARCH ..... 106
APRIL ..... 163
MAY ..... 384 (As of May 24th)
That puts this years total thus far at an astounding 870 tornadoes. This is well above the average and has broke the record for most tornadoes through the first five months of the year.
The previous record was 778 set back in 1999. And to really put this into perspective for you....the average number of tornadoes per year from 1940-2004 is 910. That means as of this writing we were only 40 tornadoes shy of the yearly average and we still have seven months to go!!
(Just in case you were wondering.... the record for most tornadoes in the month of May is 543 set back in 2003.)
* 110 deaths so far this year
