FACING THE CONSEQUENCES OF DIVIDING JERUSALEM

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:3)

The article below this editorial is just the latest evidence of a nation hell-bent on challenging God and His Holy Word.

President Bush and Secretary Rice have been told: Do not take part in helping Israel give their God given Covenant land to their enemies or divide Jerusalem and give any part to their enemies.

They were told before they pressured Prime Minister Sharon to evacuate Gaza.
Refusing to listen, we got Hurricanes' Katrina and Rita, which hit our oil platforms and gas refineries in the Gulf and all the other destruction and lives lost that followed.

President Bush and Secretary Rice hosted the Annapolis Conference in November and Rice just returned again from pressuring Israel to abandon Judea/Samaria and now E. Jerusalem.
Now we got Hurricanes' Gustav and Ike which hit our oil platforms and gas refineries in the Gulf again, except this time we are in an economic mess and have a gasoline shortage.

A nation void of counsel!!

President Bush is making blunders big time now:

1. Pressuring Israel to give away their God given Covenant land, Judea/Samaria and dividing Jerusalem.

2. Using the Fed to bail out Wall Street and sticking the taxpayers with the bill.

3. Provoking Russia to practice simulating attacks on our nation by strategic bombers and now nuclear submarine.

4. Crossing into Pakistan and bombing civilian areas, against their clear warnings not to, which is illegal under international law.

5. Refusing to close and monitor our borders for years now.

IMHO, Bush is an instrument that God is using to bring judgment upon a disobedient, rebellious nation.
A nation that has not only chosen to ignore His Word but to believe that it can change or overturn it!

I personally believe that we have crossed the line at Jerusalem and now we are headed for a swift and violent ending.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36)
