Wars and Rumours of War:

North Korea accuses U.S. of plotting attack

SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday accused the United States of preparing for a war against the communist state in Pyongyang's first verbal criticism of the Obama Administration.

A ministry spokesman said military drills taking place between U.S. and South Korean forces were "nuclear war exercises designed to mount a preemptive attack on the DPRK." The DPRK is the North's official name, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The comments came as Russia and China -- two of the North's few remaining allies -- said that they were also concerned about rising tensions on the Korean peninsula.

"The new administration of the U.S. is now working hard to infringe upon the sovereignty of the DPRK by force of arms in collusion with the South Korean puppet bellicose forces," said a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, in comments carried by the North's official KCNA news agency.

"The DPRK, exposed to the potential threat of the U.S. and its allied forces, will take every necessary measure to protect its sovereignty," the unnamed spokesman added.

Since the inauguration of the South's conservative President Lee Myung-bak, the North has all but severed relations with its wealthy neighbor, and in recent weeks increasingly stepped up rhetoric against the United States.

The North Korean official said that inter-Korean relations had reached their worst phase and the situation had grown so tense that "a war may break out any moment due to the reckless policy of confrontation" pursued by South Korea.

The prickly North has turned increasingly strident in its rhetoric, putting its one-million-strong military on combat readiness over the exercises in the South and planning to launch a long-range missile in what several governments have said would be in contravention of U.N. sanctions.
Media reported last week that Japan and the United States might try to intercept any ballistic missile launched by the North.

The North says the rocket is part of a peaceful space programme and any attempt to shoot down its missile would be seen as an act of war.

North Korea on Monday said it had put its armed forces on full combat readiness in response to the start of the annual military exercises that have been held for years without incident. The drills end on March 20.

On Wednesday, U.S. aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis made a port call in the southern city of Busan to join the drills while a guided missile destroyer the USS Chafee was in the waters off the peninsula's east.

The commanding officer of the nuclear-powered carrier, Rear Admiral Mark A. Vance said the exercise and the participation of the fleet was not at all in response to the increased tensions surrounding the North's missile launch preparations.

Russia and China called on those involved "to show restraint and composure, and to refrain from any actions that could undermine security and stability in this region," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke to his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi on Tuesday.

Russia and China, together with South and North Korea, the United States and Japan are party to multilateral talks that began in 2003 on ending the North's nuclear arms programme.
Implementation of a key disarmament deal struck in 2005 has been held up as Pyongyang slowed the process of disabling its nuclear facilities while energy aid to the North in return for those steps also dried up in recent weeks.

The conservative South Korean government has stopped aid to the impoverished North after 10 years of no-questions-asked aid by Lee's liberal predecessors, angering Pyongyang's leaders.
After a day of suspending border processing on Monday, the communist North on Tuesday allowed South Koreans back into a lucrative factory just across the armed border.

Traffic and personnel flow across the heavily armed border continued as usual while the military hotline used to process the crossing remained cut from the North's side, officials said.;_ylt=A0wNcw.fwbdJwVUAHQFZ.3QA

Shalom David,
I thought I'd come round and say howdy.

Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

As you know, my blog is about the coming judgment of SF and LA per Luke 17.

My belief is this terrible judgment will destroy the USA as we know her, and what is left will be absorbed into the North American Union, one of the 10 toes of Daniels image.

But the greatest effect will be on the world as all of the world's hot spots will erupt into war seeing the USA so weakened, they will take advantage.

Pakistan/India, China/Taiwan, North/South Korea, and esp the Arab league and Israel per Psalm 83 which will probably result in the nuclear destruction of Damascus per Isa 17.

The destruction of Damascus could be the "hook in the jaw" that brings forth Gog's hordes.

So basically, the judgment of California, which is a judgment on the USA as a country, will start the dominoes falling all the way to Armageddon.

Makes sense, no?

I know this means trials and persecution for the church in America, but I think that will be just what the Doctor ordered for an otherwise sickly and obese church.
I only say this after witnessing terrible apostasy and rebellion in the last 3 years.

I ask for your prayers, and you and yours have mine always.

Your brother in Messiah Yeshua,

Hey, Dani'El!

Welcome to Sound An Alarm brother.
Yes, that scenario sounds plausable.

I'm thinking now that Netanyahu could also be the hook. The prophecy is that Israel is quiet and at rest. The Bible says when they say peace and safety, sudden destruction.

Why I believe Netanyahu could be the hook in the jaw of Rosh is that Bibi has said no more land to the pollys in Judea/Samaria and no to dividing Jerusalem. This could cause Russia,Iran, Arab allies to come down to take it (like the USA enforcing UN Resolutions against Iraq). There are many resolutions against Israel for what the UN considers Israeli defiance.

You know, God may destroy Damascus. He is sure going to destroy Gog's army on the mountains of Israel.

Biblical prophecy is fast being fulfilled.

Brother, I hope you don't mind if you are taken in the Rapture as SF and LA are destroyed. We don't have long to find out either!!

Thank you so much for your insightful comments!

Shalom David,
Yes, the election of Netanyahu and the awakening of the majority of Israel to the reality of their "peace partners" is surely the living God of Israel's doing.

God has promised me that I'm going straight to Israel to preach the gospel to the Jews when Calif is judged, so I'm glad that the leadership will not be so hostile to what I have to say, that is, the time to trust God and fight our enemies who seek to kill us and take HIS land, promised to us has come.
God will give us victory, as He did in the miraculous 6 day war that liberated Jerusalem.

I believe it is after the battle of Psalm 83, and the destruction of Damascus, that Israel will begin to trust God to the point she seems defenseless to her neighbors, and then Gog/Magog's hordes will come, with the result being the conversion of the house of Israel.

It's going to be harrowing and very exiting, but like you said, God alone will get the victory by destroying Gog's hordes by His own hand.

I see you have a photo of the drought in California on your sidebar. Included with the drought is a bark beetle infestation that has left much of the forest areas dead wood.
God has prepared the fuel for the fire.

It's going to be a terrible display of God's wrath on the wicked, but many will have their eyes opened by it.

My eyes were only opened after 45 long years of spiritual blindness in Aug 2005. I'm amazed at how fast things are developing.
Even before my eyes were opened, I knew something was up, that the level of evil had reached epic proportions here in Sodom, but after my eyes were opened?
What a shock!!
Then of course to be attacked so viciously by Satan in that first year, well it backfired on him.
It only strengthened my faith, which is why God sovereignly allowed it.
What an amazing God we have!!!

Well David, I can see that you have a zeal and love for Zion which I always rejoice to see in my Gentile brothers and sisters.

I look forward to getting to know you better and have you and yours in my prayers as these difficult days approach.

Baruch HaShem,
Dani' El
