There is but one way in the Bible to prosper financially. Give to the Lord's work. Not to some dead fellowship in a building but to an alive flock that is helping their brothers and sisters in need, spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and helping the poor and needy:

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. (Proverbs 3:10 )

This is just one verse among many in the Bible, both Old Testament and New that promise that we will have our needs met when we GIVE. Giving is the key. Joyous, cheerful giving!

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38 )

Our business/ministry sales were up 6% in July, our busiest month of the year. We are having a prosperous year and I attribute that to obeying God's Holy Word.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. (2 Corinthians 9:6)

There you have it. In a nutshell from God's Holy Word. If you are stingy giving to the Work of the Lord (see above - GOOD GROUND), then you will have needs that are not met and your prayers will not be answered because of your disobedience.

God is Merciful though! His Mercy endures forever. It is His Will though that we obey His Word and prosper.

I believe my greatest persecution has always been to try to teach Christians to give. It's contrary to our human condition and the world which teaches us to take, dog eat dog and look after yourself because no one else will. Lies, all lies in the Kingdom of God.

I hope to reach one person who will see the scriptures of God are True for today as they are true yesterday, today and forever. That is because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Pray and ask God what Godly work here on earth would he want you to sew into. Ask Him to guide you in determining where to sew your seed for His Glory. He owns the cattle of a thousand hills and all the silver and gold of all the earth is His. He longs to bless us even in times of earthly famine. There is no famine in the Kingdom of God. He is not limited in when or where He can open the windows of heaven and pour you out blessings that you will not be able to contain them:

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 3:8-11)

Prove Him today! God wants us to have a testimony to the world that would draw them to Him. What person in this world would want to serve a God that will not help His own children and they would be no better off that the people around them who did not serve God?

No one, that's who!
