From the Mount of Olives to home again

About 15 Hours! It is truly amazing how fast and easy it was to change our plans and reschedule our flights. Three plane changes from Tel Aviv to home and hardly a spare minute between stops. We are now processing our adventure and a wonderful Christian father/son bonding time.

We have returned home early. We saw everything we needed to see and more. Jonathan and I have never come home early from a trip together, I don't believe. We both felt led to end this trip and come on home.

I am not able to say exactly why but we both had an overwhelming desire to end the trip and come on home. I would also like to state emphatically it was not because of fear for our lives or anything at all like that. I don't know yet if I can explain it properly except to say:

IT'S OVER! Tourism is over (that's number one!), the Times of the Gentiles is over, the arrogancy of the proud is over, the religious rule of the unrighteous is over, rebellion without judgment is over.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
(Isaiah 13:9-13)
