This treaty they are working on is all about "peace and security" or "peace and safety" between Israel and the palestinians and the Arab nations.

Meanwhile, Israel has to decide, within the next seven days, whether they want to chance the Iranians with the ability to develop a nuclear weapon.

Brings to mind the verses:

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:2,3)
