When They Say Peace and Safety

As I listen to the looney yodels (excuse me, call to prayers) from the Mosk of Omar throughout the day I wonder how the Israeli government can put up with it. It litterly shakes you away from any thought you were thinking and resonates throughout your being until it stops. My son calls it lucifer. He's right on. Eerie and a stark reminder that the enemy of God is everywhere around the city and the Israeli nation.

We have some spectacular pictures, taken from the Mount of Olives and other places throughout Jerusalem. I will try to post them tomorrow.

I have a real forboding for Jerusalem and for Israel. If I saw what I saw this morning, something is in the air and something soon is about to happen. Did the Lord show me this or was it a coincidence I saw it? As a former military officer and Vietnam veteran, my mind may digest something and come to a conclusion a regular tourist may not catch. As a Christian I try to sense the Lord's leading and application to scripture.

Should I leave Jerusalem early? I feel I have the Lord's leading. My son, who is very adventuresome, wholeheartedly agrees. If a military operation happens the airport could be closed until further notice.

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
(Psalm 137:5,6)

What'd you see? If you don't want to say what you saw here could you email me? I'm praying. IF this year (sometime between now and perhaps Pentecost-May 23rd) is IT, then there ought to be all kinds of "signs of the times" showing up about now. May our Lord guide you into all Truth. Stay safe.

God bless you,
